So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a special guy. He always gave me a bad time at the Ringgold County Hospital when I worked there. Recited 5 things he told me to say, and I only remember one, "Be Good". I enjoyed his smile, and friendliness. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Linda Barber

I have many special memories of my Uncle Jim. I will never forget when he and I drove my VW bug from California to Iowa, where I was attending college. As we were driving through Nevada, the brake peddle of my car suddenly broke off when I tried to stop for road construction and it was laying on the floor of the car! Jim pulled the emergency brake to stop the car, used a paper clip to fasten the brake peddle back on and off we drove to Iowa! It was quite an exciting trip to say the least! I loved listening to Jim and my dad (Harold) talk about their many childhood antics and life with their siblings and parents (my grandparents) on the farm. Jim always made me feel special by giving me nicknames and such when I was young. I was so sad to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to Rosemary and family. Take care and may God bless and comfort you all, Tara Hullinger-Doughty
